Rebabbitting of Bearing is undertaken by RA Power Solutions for Diesel Engine, Turbine, Motor, Pump Alternator and Mechanical Equipments. Babbitt Bearing works under tremendous stress and it is important that the process followed for manufacturing of Babbitt bearing and the white metal used is of quality resulting to the long life of the White Metal Bearing. It is our experience of last more than three decades that most of the serious accident takes place due to the failure of Bearings. The Bearing periodic inspection is not under taken and the Bearing material gets eroded resulting to the failure of white metal babbitt bearing.
RA Power Solutions ensures that Manufacturing of new Babbitt bearings, repair of Babbitt bearings, White Metal Tri-metal and Rebabbitting of bearings is under taken by applying the international norms and the white metal used is sourced from the accredited manufacturer only.
Babbitt bearing manufacturing is undertaken by the experienced engineers in house using the latest design of the equipments ensuring the proper bonding with the base material. Machining is done maintaining the close tolerances as per the requirement. Babbitt Bearing Manufacturing All the bearings are subject to strict quality control procedures.
White metal Babbitt bearings are repaired. The old steel shells are subject to Magnaflux for crack detection and are checked for hard spots by the qualified technicians. Rebabbitting is undertaken by centrifugal process with the same or higher grade of white metal bonding of white metal is checked by ultrasound process.
It is of great advantage to our clients that we offer in situ repairs of crankshaft, turbine shafts , alternator shafts, pump shafts and rotor shaft which again ensures that the complete repairs of shaft and rebabbitting of bearings is undertaken by one agency i.e. RA Power Solutions Pvt. This is of great advantage to the clients, as we take the complete responsibility of satisfactory performance of the equipment after repair of shaft and then accordingly matching white metal Babbitt bearings are supplied.

Wartsila 12V32 alternator bearings rebabbitting has been done by RAP. Bearings have performed satisfactory for more than 6300 hours. We are grateful to Mr. Raj Shahani and his team as rebabbiting of bearings undertaken by them has reduced our downtime and company has saved considerable cost.
Zachary Hawk,Turbine shaft bearings having bore size of 490 mm have been supplied as per the drawing for our turbine having capacity of 500 MW. The bearings have been fitted without any problems maintaining the desired oil gap. Turbine has crossed 3600 hours of operation. It works excellent. Thanks !
