Reverse Engineering

RA Power Solutions has the capabilities to do the reverse engineering of your existing white metal bearings when there is no manufacturing drawing available. Usually all that is needed is a sample part.

The white metal from the existing Babbitt bearing is removed and is subject to metallurgical test. The white metal used for rebabbitting of bearing is sourced or upgraded to stronger white materials that are readily available for a quicker lead time and to have a higher quality after rebabbitting. This is also applicable for manufacturing of new white metal Babbitt bearing. The end result is a stronger, longer lasting bearing you can rely upon.
